Men's Adventures in New York

This past weekend, we traveled to Binghamton, New York for the Men's Adventures. This conference has been ongoing every year for the last 20 years. It is one of the ministries of the Empire State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches. Craig Golden is the head of this fellowship and a wonderful leader. There were 926 men and boys at this year's adventure. Buddy spoke on Friday night about his Alaskan Adventure. On Saturday morning, he did his relevance of Genesis talk and also an hour long music concert. In the afternoon, he finished with the Dinosaurs - Separating Fact from Fiction. We sold almost all of the books that were sent for this event. Praise God that the men saw the importance of getting materials in hand to be able to help them defend their faith. There were 5 that received Christ as their savior, ranging from 5 years old to 79 years old. Pray that they will get in a bible believing church.

We were surprised to see how much snow they had. Actually, we had more snow at home then they had there. You could actually see the ground there. The weather going out was OK when we got past the freezing rain in Ohio. Then on the return trip, we got into a little freezing rain but it soon turned into just rain.

We were able to do a Home school concert when we were in New York and also a concert and talk for our good friend, Delores Morgan, who lives in Horseheads.

It was a long trip but well worth it. We are getting ready to go out this weekend but only to the border of Pennsylvania. Buddy is doing a wild game supper and Sunday morning services.

We will be heading to the museum next week on Tuesday. We are working on a new workshop. February is almost over and spring is definitely coming!!
