Sevierville, Tennessee Conference

Just before we went on the dinosaur dig, we drove to Sevierville, Tenn. for a "Defending the Faith" Conference. It was about 7 and 1/2 hour drive for us. We arrived on Sunday evening and set up on Monday during the day. Buddy did six children's workshops and two concerts. Our room only held 70 children so it was almost full every time. We had wonderful volunteers who helped with every workshop. We could not do the workshop without these volunteers and we want to thank them again for all of their work. In the afternoon we had some free time so we went to the Smokies with friends and drove through the loop called Cade's Cove. We stopped at an old church and went in. We also found a great Bass Pro Shop and a shop called "Knife Works". Yes, it had every kind of knife you would want but it also had other kitchen related items and on the lower level had cool fossils like shark teeth, arrow heads, civil war relics, to name a few... We enjoyed that.
There were approx. 3,000 people at the conference. Buddy also did a couple of intervews with Cedarville Radio. We arrived home Thursday evening and left for Montana on Saturday....
